Vinyl siding looks similar to horizontal wood siding but costs less and requires little maintenance, while the down side to it is that it can fade and look dull over time. Wood sidings look great but are costly and require maintenance. Fiber cement sidings are very durable and are a low cost alternative to wood - good looks and low cost. My home is 2800 sq/ft and I would like to replace all the T-111 siding with Hardie Board. Almost the entire outside of the house is T-111.

I already have vinyl siding on my house. It was there when I bought the house in 2005, but I do not think is more than 10 years old. A storm this past June blew some siding off the facia and soffit and I am at my witt's end trying to find replacement pieces and someone to fix it. Now I want to know how much it would cost to re-side entire house.
